The Brief

Designed adjacent to their existing residence, this substantial home was developed for the clients children, who had returned from overseas.

Utilising the slope of the land rising from the front to the rear of the property, a garage for 2 cars with a wine cellar was cut into the hillside as limited excavation, with the majority of the house sitting on the existing grade. 

Designed with all ‘public’ spaces on the ground floor, and with the inclusion of the swimming pool at the rear of the property providing this area with maximum privacy, the new occupants were able to entertain with ease as the Living Formal Dining and Gallery all overlooked the pool and terrace.

The upper floor was designated as a ‘private zone’ with all of the sleeping accommodation incorporated.

Complete Architectural and interior architecture for all of the development including Garaging for 2 cars and Wine Cellar at Lower Ground Floor (Basement). Entry Hall, Feature Pond, Gallery, Study, Sitting Room,  Formal Dining, Informal Dining, Pantry, Outdoor Kitchen and Kitchen, Powder Room and Maids Room on the ground floor. Master Suite with extensive Walk-in Robe and Bathroom, Family Room, Pantry and 4 additional Bedrooms with Ensuites at the 1st floor. Swimming Pool and Landscape grounds.
