The Brief

As part of the systematic total upgrade of the existing Intercontinental Resort, Bali, Design Bube were engaged to develop certain key elements to form a template for further renovation / redevelopment.

 

Bella Singaraja Restaurant                                                                                                                                                                           2005

The Brief

Situated within the magnificent ground of the Intercontinental Resort, Bali, Bella Singaraja was designed to become a destination restaurant, not only for guests of the resort, but of the island itself. The complete refurbishment of the existing restaurant was designed to eliminate most of the previously styled colonial décor, with the exception of a few key pieces such as the magnificent chandelier and ceiling rose. Transformed into an opulent environment of warmth and ambience, the restaurant has been designed to aesthetically please the senses.

Bella Singaraja is swathed in rich hues of red and gold which is resplendent of an era that celebrated visits to the theatre, savvy sophistication and decadent living.

 

Intercontinental Resort Club Entry Experience & Club Rooms                                                                                     2007 - 2008

The Brief

Designed to give “Club Intercontinental” Guests a new arrival experience, one that is on par with the services provided by the Hotel, Design Bube were engaged to create a Master Plan for the relocation and redevelopment of the Club Wing. The new Club Entry experience was designed to allow ease of access for club guests through a designated

drop-off, lift and check-in facility. Further to this the Club rooms were given a “facelift” with the introduction of new furniture, fabric and artworks.

 

Intercontinental Resort Presidential Villa                                                                                                                        2007 - 2008

The Brief

The last development in the project was to establish a Presidential Villa truly deserving of the title. Through the reuse and extension to the existing Villa, and the complete redesign of the interiors, not only furniture and fabric, but room layout and configuration, Design Bube has created an up to date, modern Villa fit for the President.
