The Brief

Situated in Yangon, Myanmar, Mingaladon Green Terrace is a “Resort Style” mixed-use complex comprising 4 nos nine storey Serviced Apartment Buildings and 1nos nine storey Hotel block to be developed in 3 phases.

Phase I: “Green Terrace” Luxury Serviced Apartment 1nos

Phase II: “Reign Tree” Luxury Serviced Apartment 2nos with “Reign Tree” 5 Star Hotel 1 nos

Phase III: “Green Terrace” Luxury Serviced Apartment 1nos

Green Terrace has been designed in a resort style with the relaxed yet dynamic buildings taking advantage of the adjacent golf course to provide the apartments with either golf or garden views. The complex incorporates Resort Style facilities such as infinity edge swimming pool, spa, fully equipped gym and health club, and children’s play area.

Designed with environmental and energy efficient attributes at the forefront, the development will incorporate wind generators above all pipe shafts/ stacks, integrated light wells to illuminate the inner public lift core lobbies and radiant water cooled floors. Seamless indoor/outdoor living is encouraged through the use of large open decks at all levels which provide desirable outdoor living areas and are extremely effective in shading the building from the harsh sun. At the heart of the design along with the extensive outdoor living areas is the incorporation of  self watering and assisted watered green walls. These lush walls are maintained through water saving mist irrigation which is fed from the rain water harvested supply and provide a clean, oxygen rich air.  Double glazed aluminium framed windows, steel framed insulated drywalls and cavity block walls are used to ensure the interior building environment is kept stable.
