Mixed-use Development

Jakarta, Indonesia

The Brief

For one of the largest developers in the country, the mixed-use development was to take pride of place in the heart of the Central Business District, in downtown Jakarta, Indonesia.

In liaison with the clients established marketing development consultants, Jones Lang Wootton a development strategy was established to ensure that the designed  product was sure to hit the target market.

A 2 storey podium was designed to contain the “Market Street”  where the ground level would serve as an attraction to the nearby office workers with an appropriate collection of shops to cater to this market. On the upper floor, the proposed “Eatery” was to incorporate a collection of fine international and local cuisine to cater to the lunch/dinner business crowd.

The 3rd level was to house a swimming pool and tennis court, with the  incorporation of 2 towers above this, one containing offices, whilst the other was a combination of serviced apartments and condominium units.
